How To Measure a Sphere:(Round Globe)

1. Place your Sphere on a flat surface so the opening or neck end is parallell to the flat surface.

2. Place a piece of cardboard, file folder or book on top of the globe, parallell to the flat surface.

3. Using a tape measure, measure the distance between the flat surface and the card board/ file folder.(This is your globes Diameter.) Spheres are usually available in whole even number incrimints (ie: 6", 8", 10" etc.)

4. Next measure your spheres opening. Indicate if your sphere has a hole in the base, a fitter or neck.
